1. Chủ ngữ số ít + động từ số ít (singular (sing.) subject + singular verb (v.)):

**2. Chủ ngữ số nhiều + động từ số nhiều (plural (plu.) subject + plural verb):**

-The children are singing in their classroom.

-Those men have been working since 7 o’clock.

**3. Chủ ngữ là danh từ không đếm được + động từ số ít (uncountable (unc.) noun (n.) + sing. verb):**

-Economics is a difficult subject to study.

-A lot of rice is grown in the Southest Asia.

-All of the news he gave was useful.

B. Chú ý sự phối hợp giữa chủ ngữ và động từ với các cách nói đặc biệt sau:

**Every/each**+ sing. n. + sing. v.
**Each of** + plu. n. + sing. v.
**Most (of)/ all (of)** + plu. n. + plu. v.
**Most (of)/ all (of)** + unc. n. + sing. v.
**None of** + unc. n. + sing. v.
**None of** + plu. n. + sing./plu. v.

Ex:

-Every student has to prepare the lesson before class.

-In a soccer game, each team has eleven players.

-Each of the workers is wearing a name badge.

-Most of those books are beautifully illustrated.

-Most sugar is made from sugar cane.

-None of the information in his report is accurate.
